Lesson number 2

Trust in everything and everybody. Yeah you might get hurt but you grow from it and become a better person. but most importantly trust in yourself because you will be able to do whatever you set your mind too.

Happiness: hope or hoax ?

They say happiness is a state of mind. So why is it that a positive attitude doesn’t always lead to that picture perfect lifestyle? If a person, with setbacks continues to look on the bright side of life, why doesn’t it get brighter? And for that matter why is a person with all the right things going for them, still unhappy? Is happiness attainable?

Perhaps happiness is just some figment created by the fairytales authors, in hope of a better world and it has somehow been perpetuated by companies like Disney and Hallmark, fooling us all into believing happiness is attainable.

Because I’m finding hard to believe in nowadays. Maybe it’s time we stop kidding ourselves and accept living in a world rooting against us, a world rooting against itself.

Don’t get me wrong; I wouldn’t consider myself a pessimist. It’s just how much can a person witness before they realize that happiness is in fact a hoax? Let’s face it the closest we get to happiness is settling for second best.

My heart goes out to a friend....

Why is it that even though a person has so much going for them, without a relationship they feel like a failure? How is it that the one thing we are missing always seems to lower the greatness of the good things we have going for us?

This enrages me. When will we learn to appreciate what we have without the fixation on the one thing we are missing?

Its as simple as that. Be it love or music or just in yourself , we all must believe. Otherwise life will not be worthwhile.
